Note: The vehicles will be hired for two years. The No. of days per year will be 365 days. The period of contract may be extended for maximum of two years after completion of two years.

Salient points pertaining to this tender are furnished below:–

1.	Type of Tender:	Tenders are invited in two part system, namely Part-I & Part-II tender. While Part-I tender is meant for pre-qualification, Part-II is meant for price bid. Part-I tender will contain terms and conditions of contract and documentary evidence in support of credentials of the tenderers.  Part-II tender will contain price bid only. Part-II tender of only those tenderers will be opened who will qualify on the basis of credentials submitted in Part-I tender.
2.	Earnest Money:	The Earnest Money as mentioned above may be deposited in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Eastern Coalfields Limited A/c Sonepur Bazari Area on any scheduled Bank payable at its branch at Asansol.  The Earnest Money is to be deposited in a separate envelope. A tender without earnest money shall be summarily rejected.
3.	Period of sale of tender document:	From 20.02.2012 to 24.02.2012 up to 1.00 PM on working day. Tender documents will be issued from the office of the CGM, (Mining Dept.) Sonepur Bazari Area.
4.	Date and time for submission of tender:	On 24.02.2012 up to 3.00 PM to be submitted in the tender box at the office of Chief General Manager (Mining Department)  Sonepur Bazari Area.
5.	Date and time for opening of Part I tender:	On 24.02.2012 at 4.00 PM at the office of the Chief General Manager(Mining Department.),Sonepur Bazari Area.
