NOTICE INVITING TENDERS

Sealed Tenders are invited in two parts from experienced, reliable and reputed Mini School Bus owners having Valid commercial permit for hiring of Diesel Mini School Bus (having minimum 27 sitting capacity) on per day basis for two years period at Ratibati Workshop for carrying school children to different Schools in and around Asansol and other Schools as per requirement.

Tender documents can be purchased from the office of the Dy. GM/Agent , Ratibati workshop on payment of Rs.280/= (Rupees Two Hundred Eighty Only) non refundable with Dy. Manager (Finance), Ratibati Workshop up to 12 noon on  18.02.2012.

The tender is due for submission up to 2.00 PM on 18.02.2012 and it will be opened on same day i.e. on 18.02.2012 at 2.30PM. Part-II offer shall be opened only for those tenderers who are found qualified in Part-I ,which will be communicated to such tenderers regarding due date of opening of Part-II tender.
Quotations erased & overwritten will be summarily rejected unless correctness is authenticated by tenderer’s signature.
No tender shall be accepted without submission of Earnest Money Rs.3000/- (Three thousand only). The original EMD Draft/ Cash deposit receipt should be enclosed in Part-I tender (Draft in favour of Eastern Coalfields Limited A/C Poniati Workshop).

Duration of contract – Two years from date of issue of work order & deployment of vehicle or till the new school bus is supplied by ECL HQ, whichever is earlier.

Estimated value of contract –Rs.2,85,500/-.

Validity:- Offer shall be valid for a period of 180 days from the date of opening of tender.

Driver will be provided by the owner along with Mini school bus with all liabilities and risks on the part of owner of the Mini school bus.

For evaluation purpose of L-1 bid (lowest quotation), total cost/ expenditure to be incurred (including hiring charges, fuel cost and engine oil) on average running of 1400 Kms (one thousand four hundred kms) in a month (30 days) will be considered. However actual KM run in a month may differ as per requirement.

Tender document can also be downloaded from ECL website. www.easterncoal.gov.in/ www.tenders.gov.in If tenderer downloads tender document from website, then he has to submit a declaration that he has not made any alteration in tender document published on  website. In case of downloading from website, tenderer has to deposit cost of tender document along with part-1 of tender of Rs.280/- in form of demand draft in favour of Eastern Coalfields Limited A/C Poniati work shop.

The management reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever.
