Tenders are invited on percentage basis in two parts (Part-I &
Part-II) from the reputed, bonafide competent and resourceful
contractors working and enlisted in Govt/Semi Govt/Public Sector/Joint
Sector Enterprises for the following job under Kajora Area. Part-I
consist of Technical Bid and Part-II as Price Bid.

The tenderer must have experience of
having successfully completed at least 50% of the estimated cost during
last three years, ending last day of the month previous to one in which
tender has been invited.
Tender documents
can be obtained from the Office of the Area Manager (PCDE), Kajora Area
from 17.3.10 to 18.3.10 during office hours up to 1.00 p.m., on payment
of the cost of tender documents as mentioned above (non-refundable) in
cash. No tender papers will be issued or received by post. Display of
tender documents through website from 17.3.10 to 18.3.10 at www.easterncoal.gov.in.
In case of tender documents obtained by downloading from websites, cost
of tender documents shall have to be deposited by the tenderer in the
form of Demand Draft along with Earnest Money to be drawn in favour of
‘Eastern Coalfields Limited, Area-V’ payable on State Bank of India,
Raniganj, Dist. Burwan. Tenderers solely responsible for the
correctness of the downloaded tender documents. Submission of
incomplete downloaded tender documents will be rejected.
The Earnest money
as mentioned above can be deposited in cash or bank draft to be drawn
in favour of ‘Eastern Coalfields Limited, Area-V’ payable on State Bank
of India, Raniganj, Dist. Burdwan. The cash or Bank draft may be
deposited with the Chief Cashier, Kajora Area and the money receipt
obtained from the Chief Cashier, Kajora Area, should be attached with
the tender. Tender without earnest money will be summarily rejected.
Tenderers are
required to submit IT clearance certificates/PAN/Bank a/c. No., Name of
Bank & Branch with the tender documents. They have to submit the
ownership papers of machine/equipments or papers of hire/lease etc.,
with the tender documents.
Only such bidders
who meet the above referred eligibility criteria and fulfill other
requirements as per nit, the tender documents shall qualify for opening
of Part-II i.e. price bid. The tenderers shall have to ensure
implementation of CMPF and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 1948 and allied
scheme framed there, in respect of Contractors’ work deployed by him
and will have to be statutory dues and deposited the same along with
Employer contribution (contractor’s share) to the respective CMPF
office and to submit statutory return under intimation to the principal
Employer. ECL would not be liable for any compensation due to
stoppage/changed in scope of work due to local disturbances, changed in
Govt policy, law & order of judiciary, obstruction or delay by any
outside agency. Tenderers should visit the site before offering their
tender.
Date and time of
submission of the tender is 19.3.10 upto 1.00 p.m. in the box kept in
the Office of the Area Manager (PCDE), Kajora Area, subscribing the
name of the work, Sl.No. of the work of NIT and Part-I, Part-II
separately on the top of the envelop duly sealed. Tender (Part-I only)
will be opened on the same day at 3.30 p.m. in presence of the members
of the tender committee or their authorized representative and
intending tenderer or their authorized representative.
The authority
reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without
assigning any reason what-so-ever.
