1. Sealed tender in two parts and separately sealed two envelops viz. Part-I being qualification and technical part and Part-II being the terms and conditions and price bid part, legibly super scribed and marked accordingly on the face of sealed envelops are invited from eligible and experienced Contractors for the following work at Tirat Colliery, an underground mine, under the domain of Satgram Area, E.C.L., under the command of Eastern Coalfields Limited (A Govt. of India Enterprise).

2. Description of work:
2.1. Name of Work:- Construction of 29 (twenty Nine) Nos. Isolation stopping 1 mtr.thick (25 nos. Full & 4 nos. Preparatory) at Panel No.19 in R-IX (Ghusick) Seam of Tirat Colliery.

2.2. Time of Completion: -120 days.

2.3. The estimated value of work is Rs.12, 29,011.56 (Rupees Twelve Lakhs Teenty Nine thousand Eleven and paise fifty six) only.
3.0. Tender Fee: - Rs.500.00+12.5% VAT per set (Non refundable)
3.1. Earnest money:-Earnest money of Rs.12290.00 (Rupees Twelve thousand Two hundred Ninety) only is required to be deposited to the Sr. Cashier, Satgram Area or Chief Cashier, ECL, HQ, Sanctoria in Cash or through an A/c. Payee Draft in favour of “Eastern Coalfield Limited, A/c. Area-III” payable at Asansol in any schedule Bank preferably State Bank of India. The receipt of the Cash or of the Bank Draft is required to be enclosed with Part-I envelope and in the the absence of receipt of Cash or Bank Draft, the Part-II (Price bid) tender will be rejected outright.   

4.0 Issue of Tender documents begins on: - 02.03.2010
4.1 Issue of tender documents closes on: -   08.03.2010

4..2 Date and time of submission of tender on 10.03.2010 from 11.00 AM to 3.00 P.M. at the Office of the General Manager, Satgram Area Office or Office of the  CG.M.(CMC), ECL, Sanctoria. .

4.3 Date and time of opening of tender (Part-I): - On 12.03.2010 at 3.30 P.M.

4.4 Tenders thus received in the respective Office will be taken out from the Tender Box at 3-30 P.M on 10.03.2010 in presence of intending tenderers or their authorized representative duly recorded and the sealed cover will be opened in the Office of the Chief  General Manager, Satgram Area as per above schedule of opening of tenders (Part-I) in presence of intending tenderers or their authorized representative. Tenderers may submit their tender at any of the above two places.

4.5 No tender documents will be issued or received by Post.
